Afro-Caribbean Chamber of Culture And Tourism (ACCCAT)

The purpose of Afro-Caribbean Chamber of Culture And Tourism (ACCCAT) is to promote the awareness and interest of Africa and Caribbean Culture, their Heritage, People and community; as well as, enhancing and furthering pluralism and diversity. African and Caribbean shared common ties. These are based on a shared history, Cultural orientation and sense of common identity forced by slave trade which forcibly relocated more than 10 million Africans to the new world. In the process, creating large centers of Diaspora Africans in the Caribbean. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:
1. Foster greater unity and cohesion between Africa and the Caribbean. Engage in a high level discussion with members from Africa and the Caribbean in the field of Culture, Arts and Tourism.
2. Accelerate socio political and economic integration of Africa and the Caribbean. 3. To promote cultural orientation and value system between Africans and the Caribbean.
4. To promote peace, security and stability of the two regions.
5. To promote and ensure effective participation of women and youth in the cultural activities that is expected to propel economic development in the regions
